Travelers can access all trip features via the web without providing SMS consent. Phone numbers are used solely for trip coordination and are never used for marketing.

Automatically Collected Information: We may collect non-personal data such as your IP address, device type, browser type, operating system, and usage activity through cookies and analytics tools.

Location Data: If you grant permission, we may collect your location data to enhance travel planning features.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Provide, operate, and improve our website, app, and services.
• Enable trip itinerary creation, coordination, and group communication.
• Send SMS messages to travelers on behalf of trip organizers, including invitations, itinerary updates, polls, and task assignments.

4. SMS Messaging & Twilio

Sail uses Twilio to deliver SMS and MMS messages to trip participants. When a traveler's phone number is submitted by an organizer, that number is transmitted to Twilio for message delivery. Twilio may collect and process data in connection with message delivery in accordance with their own privacy policy, available at twilio.com/legal/privacy. SMS consent is not required to join or use Sail. Travelers who do not opt in will not receive any messages beyond the single initial invitation sent by the platform on the organizer's behalf.

Travelers may opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP. Travelers who have not opted in will only ever receive a single initial invitation message.

5. Cookies & Tracking Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies to enhance user experience and analyze website and app performance. You can manage cookie preferences in your browser settings.

6. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party service providers to operate Sail:

• Google Analytics: Website and app usage analytics.
• Firebase: App infrastructure and performance monitoring.
• Stripe: Payment processing for paid subscription tiers.
